On the 8th of May, we had the privilege of attending an event at Ascot Racecourse, where people from various walks of life gathered to acknowledge the carers in our community.

The event allowed carers and their loved ones to enjoy the spectacular views from the sixth-floor Panoramic restaurant while nibbling on delectable snacks.

Lovely memorabilia were given out to lucky draw winners and guests were taken for an in-person meet and greet with Ascot’s Equine Ambassador; “Side Glance-Sidey.”

At Heritage Healthcare Windsor, we understand the importance of supporting our service users emotionally, physically, and financially. We did this by arranging reliable and comfortable transportation for them to and from the event and by subsidizing the costs to ensure that all our clients would be able to afford the experience and have an amazing time.

We assisted with dressing up our service users ready for the event, transferring them to cars and then to the venue and finally escorting them in.

During the event, one of our clients won the draw and took home a beautiful arrangement of flowers. On top of this, they were given VIP protocol and were driven around in a buggy to meet “Side Glance-Sidey.”

But our support didn’t end there. We made sure to capture all the precious memories of the day and provided printed photographs to the family members of our service users.
