JOB ROLE:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Administer medications as per care plans and follow medication policies.
- Provide personal care and support in accordance with individual care plans.
- Aid with meal preparation and feeding when required.
- Utilise manual handling equipment for safe client mobility and transfers.
- Report any changes in clients' health and well-being to the Care Manager or relevant healthcare professionals.
- Participate in social activities and outings with clients, as indicated in their care plans.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of care services provided, including daily logs and medication documentation.
- Ensure high-quality care by collaborating effectively with the care team.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of clients and colleagues.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is advantageous but not mandatory; we offer thorough training to achieve the "Care Certificate" qualification.
- A caring and empathetic nature with a true passion for supporting and assisting others.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to establish strong connections with clients and team members.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively, utilising initiative when required.
- Effective problem-solving skills to tackle and resolve issues promptly.
- Eagerness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
