JOB ROLE:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Administer medications according to established care plans and guidelines.
- Offer individualised support in line with clients' care plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Support clients' mobility needs, using appropriate equipment for safe transfers.
- Monitor clients' health status and promptly report any changes to healthcare professionals or care managers.
- Engage clients in social activities and accompany them on outings as per their care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of care services, including daily logs and medication administration.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure clients receive exceptional care.
- Adhere to health and safety policies to ensure the well-being of clients and staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A compassionate and empathetic personality with a strong commitment to providing excellent care.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to effectively manage and resolve issues.
- Willingness to engage in continuous training and professional growth opportunities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, using initiative when necessary.
- Previous caregiving experience is beneficial but not required; comprehensive training to "Care Certificate" level will be provided.
