A Day Out at Wistow Rural Centre

Our recent visit to Wistow Rural Centre was a delightful experience for one of our clients. She explored the miniature railways and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with scones, jam, and coffee.
Recently, our Registered Care Manager, Hannah, took one of our clients on a trip to the Wistow Rural Centre. It’s a place she enjoys visiting, particularly for its charming miniature railways. We spent time strolling around, taking in the detailed models and the peaceful surroundings.

After exploring, we headed to the garden centre’s café for a well-deserved break. Over scones with jam and a cup of coffee, we had a lovely chat, making it a relaxing and enjoyable outing. These trips are a simple but important way to ensure our clients continue to enjoy the activities that bring them joy. Regular outings like this provide both mental stimulation and a sense of normalcy, contributing to their overall well-being.
