JOB ROLE:
- Provide personal care and support to clients, following their individual care plans
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, using manual handling equipment when necessary
- Administer medication according to care plans and medication policies
- Observe and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the Care Manager or healthcare professionals
- Engage clients in social activities and outings as specified in their care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care services provided, including daily logs and medication records
- Collaborate with the wider care team to ensure clients receive high-quality care
- Comply with health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of clients and colleagues
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a care role is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training to "Care Certificate" level will be provided
- A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to support and care for others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative when necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues effectively
- Willingness to participate in further training and development as needed
