JOB ROLE:
- Personal Care: Provide individualised care and support, respecting client care plans.
- Daily Living Support: Assist with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Mobility Assistance: Aid in client mobility and transfers, utilising manual handling equipment as needed
- Medication Management: Safely administer medication in line with care plans and policies.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients’ health to managers or healthcare professionals.
- Social Engagement: Support clients in social activities and outings aligned with their care plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate care records, ensuring all services are logged daily.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the care team to maintain a high standard of service.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure client and staff safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Prior care role experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training provided.
- Character: Compassion, desire to help, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability: Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Problem Solving: Effective at addressing and resolving issues.
- Training: Open to ongoing training and professional development.
