My Background

Actively involved in the care industry, I owned and managed residential and nursing homes. Expanding to home care in 2008, I guided Heritage Healthcare to become a trusted provider of high-quality care services.

I’m Sally Pickersgill, one of the Directors of Heritage Healthcare. With diverse industry experience, I’m passionate about delivering exceptional care services. My role involves strategic business development and overseeing the Marketing Department.

My Background

Starting in residential property sales, I joined the NHS and became a Personal Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive. With a deep understanding of healthcare management, I obtained a Certificate in Management. Transitioning to the commercial property sector, I oversaw refurbishments and collaborated with commercial agents.

My Qualifications

  • Certificate in Management from Teesside University
  • Extensive experience in sales, negotiation, and property management

I’m Michelle Fenwick, one of the Directors of Heritage Healthcare. With decades of experience in the care sector, I’m dedicated to maintaining high standards and supporting franchisees for the success of our business.

My Background

Starting as a Healthcare Assistant in 1994, I progressed through various roles, becoming a Registered Care Home Manager in 2002. Joining Heritage Healthcare in 2009, I held multiple positions before becoming a Director.

  • Qualified Franchise Professional (QFP), making me the first person in the care sector to achieve this prestigious qualification

I’m Yvette Bayley, the Franchise Support Manager for Heritage Healthcare Franchising. With 25+ years of experience in health and social care, I bring extensive knowledge to my role. Based in London, I serve as a vital link between franchisees and the Head Office, providing training, support, and guidance for efficient and growing businesses.

My Background

In 1980, I started as a Nursing Assistant, qualifying as a Psychiatric Nurse at St Johns Hospital in Aylesbury. Working in care homes and home care businesses, I gained valuable knowledge and experience.

My career has been shaped by a passion for supporting organisations within the care sector and helping them build strong, recognisable brands. Working across a variety of roles in marketing, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to create strategies that not only raise awareness but also highlight the meaningful impact care providers have in their communities.

My Motivation

I’m motivated by the opportunity to make a measurable impact on the growth of Heritage Healthcare and the success of our franchisees. Creating strategic, well-executed campaigns that support our offices, enhance our brand, and ultimately benefit the people we care for is what drives me every day.

Focus

As Marketing Manager, my focus is to deliver comprehensive support across all areas of marketing within the franchise network. This includes overseeing website optimisation, managing social media strategy, and leading the planning, execution, and performance analysis of campaigns to ensure strong return on investment. I work closely with new franchisees to guide their marketing setup, provide structured training, and offer ongoing strategic support. In addition, I contribute to recruitment initiatives by developing clear, effective job descriptions and advising on the most appropriate and impactful advertising channels.

I’m Adam Godsall, Franchise Development Manager at Heritage Healthcare. With over 15 years of leadership experience across healthcare, technology, and business development, I’m passionate about helping our franchisees build successful, sustainable care businesses that genuinely make a difference in their communities.

My Background

I started my career in hands-on care with Derbyshire County Council before founding a marketing consultancy based on Healthcare. In 2021, I moved into operations leadership at within a Homecare company, managing a team of 25+ staff and delivering significant growth. I joined Heritage Healthcare in September 2025, bringing together my entrepreneurial experience and operational expertise to support our franchise network.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about design, art and tech something that influences how I approach problem-solving and communication. I’m also an avid motorcyclist, which keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of preparation, awareness, and enjoying the journey.

Every franchisee brings unique strengths, and my role is to help them maximise those whilst learning from the collective experience of our network.

As Franchise Development Manager, I focus on three key areas: strategic planning and growth, compliance and quality assurance, and operational excellence. I work closely with franchisees to analyse performance data, develop marketing strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement systems that support sustainable growth. Whether you’re launching a new franchise or scaling an established operation, I’m here to provide practical guidance and support.
