Hosted by the Slough, Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead Initiative (SWAMI), community groups from across the borough hosted stalls on Peascod Street, Windsor to meet local shoppers and passers-by. Heritage Healthcare Windsor was one of those groups, shouting about the care they can provide to residents living within the Royal Borough.
The weather stayed bright and warm for the weekend, bringing a party atmosphere for the participating groups and shoppers. In attendance to the event was the Deputy Mayor Colin Raynor, who took the time to meet and chat with each stands representative, including Heritage Healthcare Windsor’s Directors Romola Ganguli and Adrian Greensmith who is also Chair of local charity Windsor Mencap. Other stands included Alzheimer’s Dementia Support for whom the Windsor team have sponsored a fabulous Afternoon Tea event in May for persons living with Dementia; Men’s Matters; Talking Therapies and interfaith community representatives.
“Yet again, we thoroughly enjoyed supporting another well organised and fun SWAMI event in Windsor,” said Romola. “It was a wonderful opportunity to be able to play a part in showcasing the various community organisations which help to improve the lives of the Royal Borough’s residents.”
