Heritage Healthcare Carers always wear a uniform and carry identification badges with photographic ID for added security and peace of mind.

Marie Binks

Director and Registered Manager

Heritage Healthcare Wakefield and Kirklees Director and Registered Manager, Marie Binks, qualified in Law before launching a successful career within the business banking sector. For the last 18 years, Marie has worked closely with the local business community, building longstanding and trusting relationships. Having raised funds for the local hospice and volunteered in the area, Marie decided to launch Heritage Healthcare Wakefield so that she could provide her community with an expert quality, caring and professional service. Marie said, “I want to be able to look after people just as I’d want my own family to be treated and provide a service which is reliable and trusted”.

Dawn Folan

Care Manager

Dawn is the Care Manager of Heritage Healthcare Wakefield and Kirklees. She runs the day to day service, managing the dedicated team of carers & making sure the service is compliant according to the CQC standards. Dawn has worked in the care industry for 23 years and is passionate about delivering care and maintaining clients’ independence at home. Dawn said, “I love meeting the people and families we come in contact with and the small details that we do to make a huge difference to our clients’ lives.”



Jordan Cowdell

Field Care Supervisor

As the Field Care Supervisor, Jordan is the first person new clients meet. Jordan conducts care assessments and writes person-centred support plans that emphasise an individual’s preferences and choices, and regularly holds meetings with a client and their family members to evaluate their changing needs. After caring for a friend and her grandfather due to their cancer diagnosis, Jordan wanted to pursue a career in the Health and Social Care sector and joined the Heritage Healthcare Wakefield and Kirklees team.

Sharon White

Care Coordinator

Care Coordinator, Sharon, plays an active role in supporting carers of Heritage Healthcare Wakefield and Kirklees team. She works out in the field, providing care to clients, as well as supporting care plans to enable clients to live in their own homes for longer. Sharon believes there is nothing more important than the wellbeing of clients and feels a sense of achievement when she sees how happy the clients are when she visits.

Tom Middleton

Business Admin

Business Admin, Tom, joined the team at Heritage Healthcare Wakefield and Kirklees as an Apprentice and is currently completing his Business Administrator Standard Level 3.

Tom assists the Care Manager and Managing Director in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of our service and provides administrative support to the management team. Tom is fully trained in GDPR and compliance and has oversight of in-house recruitment, staff onboarding and the administration of our Social Media Channels.

Tom said; “My apprenticeship with Heritage Healthcare has allowed me to explore new opportunities and professional interests within HR and recruitment, I feel I have really found my niche with Heritage”.
