This month, we have been showing our support for Carers Week, which was hosted on Monday 10th – Sunday 16th June.
Being a Carer for a loved one is a rewarding choice to make, however, the responsibility of taking care of someone else can lead to a carer’s own needs being put on hold. This year’s Carers Week has been focused on helping carers be connected with support services that can help them.
At Heritage Healthcare Milton Keynes, we support primary caregivers with respite services, creating a bespoke care plan tailored around the routine already in place. We get to know a client’s likes and dislikes and what their wishes are to adapt a care package which allows primary caregivers to have some much-needed time to themselves.
We also provide flexible and stable job roles which support carers to continue providing the care for a loved one whilst supporting local people too.
We wanted to share the fantastic career opportunities we have at Heritage Healthcare Milton Keynes and so, on Friday 14th June, we returned to Milton Keynes Jobcentre Plus and hosted another recruitment day.
Jobseekers has a chance to meet our Managing Director, Archita Raval, and our Registered Care Manager, Katie Russell, and find out more about being a Care Assistant. The team interviewed potential carers, sharing information about the training opportunistic available with Heritage Healthcare Milton Keynes and how they can support carers on their career journey.
Being a Heritage Healthcare Milton Keynes Care Assistant means you are part of a supportive care team who are there to help one another as well as clients. We are always looking for compassionate people to join our family.
