Make May Purple is an annual event hosted Stroke Association to help raise awareness of the effects of a stroke.
This month, we will be showing our support by not only sharing information and advice through our own Stroke Awareness Month campaign, but our Head Office team will be wearing purple.
On Thursday 23rd May, Heritage Healthcare’s Directors, Finance Department and Marketing Department will be dressing up in purple clothing or accessories for the day, and anyone who “forgets” has the choice of a giant pair of glasses, purple feather boa or a cowboy hat to wear instead.
A stroke can strike at any time, affecting anyone at any age. We want to help raise awareness of how we can all help stroke survivors in our communities, be prepared by learning the FAST test and help fund the important research that will go into finding a cure.
At Heritage Healthcare, we provide our clients with bespoke care to help them remain living independently and comfortably at home for longer. Our services include personal care, companionship, domestic duties, dementia support, palliative and end-of-life care. We tailor ever care plan to the unique wishes and needs of our clients, working with their families and external healthcare professionals.
