JOB ROLE:
- Delivering personalised and compassionate care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, following their unique care plans
- Assisting individuals with their daily routines, encompassing bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Preparing nutritious meals and providing support during mealtime, if necessary
- Ensuring individuals' mobility and transfer needs are met, utilising appropriate equipment when required
- Administering medications to individuals in accordance with their care plans and adhering to medication policies
- Observing and promptly reporting any changes in individuals' physical and emotional well-being to the care manager or healthcare professionals
- Engaging individuals in social activities and accompanying them on outings as specified in their care plans
- Maintaining accurate and meticulous records of the care services delivered, including detailed daily logs and medication records
- Collaborating closely with the care team to guarantee the delivery of exceptional care services to all individuals
- Demonstrating unwavering commitment to health and safety protocols, prioritising the welfare of individuals and colleagues alike
REQUIREMENTS:
- Although prior experience in a caregiving role is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement as comprehensive training will be provided
- Embodying a compassionate and empathetic nature, driven by a genuine passion for providing support and care to others
- Possessing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at establishing rapport with clients and colleagues
- Displaying both independent initiative and teamwork capabilities, adapting to various situations seamlessly
- Demonstrating strong problem-solving acumen, swiftly identifying issues and taking appropriate actions
- Embracing a proactive attitude towards ongoing training and development, as necessitated by the role
