JOB ROLE:
- Provide individualised care and support, respecting client care plans.
- Assist with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Aid in client mobility and transfers, utilising manual handling equipment as needed.
- Safely administer medication in line with care plans and policies.
- Observe and report any changes in clients’ health to managers or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate care records, ensuring all services are logged daily.
- Work with the care team to maintain a high standard of service.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure client and staff safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior care role experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training is provided.
- Compassion, desire to help, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Effective at addressing and resolving issues.
- Open to ongoing training and professional development.
