The Dignity in Care campaign, led by the National Dignity Council, takes action by improving the quality of care so all citizens services experience equal respect. The 10 Point Dignity Challenge was set up for Dignity Champions to follow in order to deliver a high quality service, with points including having a zero tolerance of all forms of abuse and ensuring people feeling able to complain with fear of retribution.
Following its original launch in 2006, the campaign now has over 80,000 registered Dignity Champions – and this month, Heritage Healthcare will be signing up too.
During the Dignity in Care campaign, Heritage Healthcare will also be sharing information about delivering in dignity and respect in care and discussing the meaning of dignity.
Heritage Healthcare deliver compassionate and quality home care to individuals living throughout the UK so they can remain living independently in the comfort of their home with the support they need. Services include companionship, personal care, domestic duties and live in care, with care packages bespoke to each service user for the time they need.
