Becoming a carer is a rewarding career choice. The pandemic has highlighted how important carers are in our community to enable vulnerable and older people to feel safe.
With support from a Home Carer, individuals can continue to remain living at home for longer with the right care and support for their needs. To help loved ones feel safe during the pandemic, an estimated 4.5 million people in the UK have become a carer to someone who is disabled, elderly or has an illness.
This month we celebrated Carer’s Week to raise awareness of the unpaid carers in our community and signposting them to resources and services to help.
For many, providing care to a relative has paved the way for a new potential career choice. The care industry is seeing many new carers joining teams across the UK to continue to deliver care to more people in their local community.
At Heritage Healthcare, we are welcoming new carers to join our fantastic care team. If you are compassionate and dedicated to providing a high-quality service to others, we want to hear from you!
As a Home Carer, your mission is to help more people to remain in the comfort of their own home for longer, with a bespoke care plan tailored around their unique needs and wishes. Support can include personal care, helping around the house, companionship and helping someone get out into their community, supporting with more complex needs or respite care. We ensure our team receive the highest standard of training to keep their skills and knowledge up to date, with plenty of opportunities to progress in their career.
As you would be visiting different clients, we do require our Carers to have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. We offer fantastic rates of pay and hours to match your lifestyle, and you will be surrounded by a supportive team who are always willing to help.
